On April 23, AZTERLAN will host the H2Micro Workshop: Interaction of Hydrogen with Microstructure and Mechanical Properties.
H2MICRO 2026 is a specialized technical forum focused on the advanced characterization of hydrogen interaction with metallic materials. The event will address diffusion mechanisms, reversible and irreversible trapping, the influence of dislocations, grain boundaries and secondary phases, as well as their impact on hydrogen-induced embrittlement.
The workshop is jointly organized by the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering of the University of Oviedo and the Metallurgical Research Centre AZTERLAN, with the collaboration of LECO.
The program will also feature presentations from specialists from the University of Burgos, ArcelorMittal, CIEMAT, Enagás, EONIX Innovation and Tubacex Group.
The workshop program and registration details are available on the Foros de Conocimiento (link) website managed by the Instituto de Fundición Tabira.
