Technical Conference: "Technological and environmental challenges in the foundry industry"
This technical framework will be held on September 20th by specialists from the Huttenes-Albertus Ilarduya company and the IK4-Azterlan Metallurgy Research Centre to share advanced experiences related to casting technologies and the main challenges facing the sector.
The foundry industry is extraordinarily dynamic. Technological development and innovation are fundamental keys to competitive improvement. In a global market where the evolution of production strategies is marked by digital transformation, this industry must also respond to the challenges posed by this new paradigm.
Similarly, the demanding technical requirements of consumer industries, such as automotive sector, along with the goals set by the environmental regulations that rule the industry, pose challenges that require a high level of innovation through the whole value chain.
The IK4-AZTERLAN Metallurgical Research Centre will host this technical conference, which has an interesting work program with presentations by experts from the company HÜTTENES-ALBERTUS ILARDUYA and the IK4-AZTERLAN Technology Centre, that will address possible solutions to these challenges by means of technological innovation and advanced materials.
