The town of Pisa (Italy) has recently hosted this important international framework in which IK4-Azterlan shared part of the results of its latest research works within the official technical program of the Congress.
This seminar was held in IK4-AZTERLAN on 24th and 25th of September, with the active participation of 40 professionals from the industry, research institutes and universities, interested in deepening their knowledge on this important analytical technology.
IK4-AZTERLAN has coordinated this international working frame, a worldwide technical reference, that has allowed to share with the industry the latest developments and innovations from the foundry technology.
Casting technology incorporates a significant number of materials in which the Silica (SiO2) is the most abundant component. The effects of on health is related with the exposure of breathable dust, the dust fraction which can enter the lungs, originating respiratory diseases such as silicosis, a nodular fibrosis caused by gradual sedimentation of respirable crystalline silica particles in the lungs.
